February 5th - Scout Sunday at St. Augustine's Church

"Fun with Science" at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories is science based demonstration that may include such topics as states of matter, air pressure, density, electricity, and chemistry. We’ll also have a chance to explore the Discovery Center. The area of the Lab we will be visiting is open to the general public, cameras are allowed.  Permission slips due January 30th to Mr. Bhandarkar. Seating is limited. We have an opportunity to work at the Alameda County Food Bank in Oakland. Several scouts have volunteered at food banks, and it's both enjoyable and a really good way to help the community. We highly recommend this!  Volunteer shift 9-12 for each date.  All boys need the attached waiver signed. Parents are welcome to join.  Please see troop calendar for more details.

The Catholic Community of Pleasanton will be celebrating and recognizing Scouting at the 10 AM Mass at St. Augustine’s Church (3999 Bernal Avenue) on Feb. 5^th.  This is a national event for all Scouting, where Scouts of all denominations are recognized by religious places of worship.  If you have any questions or would like to help with the Liturgy, please contact  Mr. Kenny.
